The 2025 Taiwan Hydrogen & Electric Coach Net-Zero Mobility Forum opened on the July 22nd at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center. Master Bus showcased Taiwan’s first 12-meter intercity electric bus certified for operation, featuring localization of ten key components. From body assembly, steel frame, battery pack and BMS, to the vehicle control unit (VCU), all were independently designed, developed, and manufactured by Master Bus.
The intercity e-bus is also equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems, including Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Automatic Emergency Braking. These intelligent driving features ensure a safe, quiet, and comfortable travel experience for passengers on national highway routes.
Master Bus has independently developed a 450kW six-phase direct-drive motor tailored for long intercity travel, delivering 603 horsepower. With ample power for climbing steep grades and a top speed of 105 km/h, the motor ensures stable and efficient operation under all road conditions.
The bus is powered by a self-produced 218 kWh fast-charging LTO battery pack, capable of charging to 80% in just 15 minutes. With a single-charge range of 227 km and a daily mileage capacity of up to 1,000 km, it supports public transportation’s transition toward net-zero emissions.
