The 2025 International Smart Mobility Exhibition kicks off, with Master Bus unveiling its fully independent vehicle supply chain. This includes chassis, body, battery packs, direct-drive motors, battery management systems (BMS), and vehicle control units (VCU). The company also announced that its first electric intercity bus will be launched in the second quarter of this year, demonstrating its commitment to fulfilling global supply chain demands and advancing toward net-zero carbon emissions.
Master Bus stated that the automotive industry is moving toward smart, electric, and low-carbon solutions—trends attracting global attention. Taiwan’s supply chain excels in key components, electronic control technologies, and system integration. Since 2015, Master Bus has been developing complete ebus manufacturing, building mature and advanced technologies. It aims to become a key partner for professional exhibitors at home and abroad seeking collaboration.
Master Bus also emphasized its role as a leader in both demonstration and promotional models of electric buses. In addition to its 12-meter low-floor electric bus, the company will launch a 12-meter intercity electric bus in the second quarter of this year. This supports national policies targeting net-zero emissions and energy transition while aiming to deliver a comfortable electric bus experience for passengers and operators alike.
So far this year, Master Bus has received orders for over 400 units — a remarkable achievement. In addition to exporting 30 electric buses to its diplomatic ally Paraguay, the company is also actively expanding into other international markets.
At this year's exhibition, Master Bus is showcasing Taiwan’s most comprehensive electric bus supply chain. From its self-developed 450kW direct-drive motor and safest lithium-titanate (LTO) battery pack to in-house chassis and body production, the company demonstrates its high-spec technology and strong commitment to smart, tech-enabled, and green transportation.
Among the highlights is the world’s highest-spec 450kW six-phase direct-drive motor, specially designed for intercity electric buses on long uphill routes, offering powerful performance and high energy conversion efficiency. The safest lithium-titanate (LTO) battery provides long life—charging from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes—and supports over 20,000 charge cycles. It can serve as a power battery for over 10 years and be repurposed as an energy storage battery for another decade. The user-friendly BMS and VCU systems enable effective vehicle management and enhance overall stability.
