The 2025 International Smart Mobility Expo is being held from April 23 to 26 at the Nangang Exhibition Center. Master Bus is presenting its fully self-developed electric bus supply chain, including chassis, body, battery packs, direct-drive motors, BMS (Battery Management System), and VCU (Vehicle Control Unit). The company also announced that its first electric intercity bus will be launched in Q2 this year, underscoring its capabilities to meet global supply chain demands and its commitment to net-zero emissions.

The 2025 International Smart Mobility Exhibition was held at the Nangang Exhibition Center from April 23rd to 26th. Master Bus specifically exhibited its complete independent vehicle supply chain, including the chassis, body, battery pack, direct-drive motor, BMS battery management system, and VCU vehicle control system. It also announced that its first electric intercity bus will be on the road in the second quarter of this year.

Since 2015, Master bus has been engaged in full vehicle development for electric buses. In addition to its 12-meter low-floor city bus, it will launch a 12-meter intercity bus in Q2, aligning with policies on net-zero emissions and energy transition. The company aims to deliver comfortable electric buses that meet the needs of both passengers and operators. This year, Master Bus has already received over 400 orders and successfully exported 30 electric buses to its diplomatic ally Paraguay, further expanding into global markets.

At this year’s event, Master bus is showcasing Taiwan’s most complete electric bus supply chain—from its independently developed 450kW direct-drive motor and lithium titanate (LTO) battery packs, to its in-house chassis and body production. The 450kW six-phase direct-drive motor is specifically designed for long-distance uphill intercity routes, delivering powerful output and highly efficient energy conversion for stable performance.

The LTO battery features long life and ultra-fast charging—capable of charging from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes. It supports up to 20,000 charge-discharge cycles, with over 10 years of use as a power battery and another 10 years as an energy storage battery after the vehicle is retired, offering excellent safety, environmental, and cost performance.

Together with intuitive BMS and VCU systems, Master Bus effectively integrates control and vehicle management, significantly enhancing operational stability and safety.

Master Bus stated that in response to the global net-zero movement and supply chain restructuring, it is committed to developing safe and high-performance electric buses that maximize the benefits of green transportation. Moving forward, the company will continue integrating low-carbon mobility, technology, design, and manufacturing expertise to realize fully independent R&D, design, and production—offering smart and sustainable mobility solutions to global markets.
